Short Biographical Statement
Dr. Lloyd Blenman is Professor of Finance at the University of North Carolina‐Charlotte. He holds a PhD from Ohio State University. Prior to his academic career, he was a manager at a commercial bank in charge of their International Division. Dr. Blenman’s research covers International Finance, Joint Ventures, Financial Markets, Corporate Finance, Asset Pricing and Investments. He is co‐author of “Banking and Capital Markets: New International Perspectives”.
His work has been published in Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of Economics Dynamics and Control, Review of Derivatives Research, Finance Research Letters, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Futures Markets, International Review of Economics and Finance, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Financial Review, Global Finance Journal, Economia Internazionale, International Journal of Finance, Journal of Multinational

Dr. Blenman has won professional awards for his work in International Finance and Asset Pricing. He has taught for several years at the MBA and PhD levels. He is a member of the American Finance Association, American Economic Association, and Midwest Finance Association. He is Co‐Editor of African Finance Journal and has been Associate Editor/Guest Editor, of Journal of Multinational Financial Management, Financial Review, International
Journal of Finance, Quarterly Journal of Finance and Accounting, and International Review of Financial Analysis. He is Past‐President of the MFA and regularly makes presentations across the USA and internationally to businesses, universities and academic conferences.
